My girlfriend and I were looking around online for new sushi options in our area. I came across some reviews for Giant Eagle. This took me by surprise because I've been shopping at Giant Eagle my entire life in South Akron. Sadly my store does not have sushi ðŸ˜. I drove across town to West Akron and it was WELL worth the drive! Honestly some of the best sushi I've had to date. The girl working behind the counter was super nice to us and the preparation was amazing! Consider giving her a raise because I would like to continue driving across town to get this quality on a regular basis 👌

The parking is so frustrating! There are so many spots reserved for reasons other than disabled parking. It seems to have begun with COVID but I resent rows of spaces empty for sitting in a car to be waited on for pickups. Take those reserved parking spots away, or have minimum amounts, & I'll change to 5 stars!!
Hard to believe the other reviews were pretty good. I used to shop this location with no issues. Visited recently and all but one employee I came in contact with was rude and had a bad attitude. I asked for assistance to get meat that was advertised and wasn’t out. I must have been bothering the lady by the meat counter as she was writing in a little notebook and looking at her phone. She ended up giving me the wrong item and then told another employee at the checkout that I gave her the wrong item even though I pointed it out in the ad. The self check out kept malfunctioning and was dirty. The man in the front informed that I was scanning incorrectly. I will stick to my regular store. This location hires trash with piss poor attitudes.
Giant Eagle is probably our largest strictly grocery store. It has everything that you would expect a large retail grocer to have. It accepts all types of payment and has great service as well as parking. It's always the same good experience when I come here. Thanks
Bakery charged us the cost of a half sheet cake for a quarter sheet cake. Ordered half sheet online, picked up thought it looked kinda small but it was for a birthday party starting soon. Everyone confirmed that it was definitely a quarter sheet, we got 14 servings. I then read their half sheet should be 30 servings.
Like this Giant Eagles alot. This store is always clean and orderly , fresh fruits and vegetables.. I really like there pharmacy. Shelves are always stock to the fullest. Freezer dairy or any food always stock to the fullest. I always enjoy shopping here at this location
